Jon Murphy – Creative Director
Jon, originally from Massachusetts where he was a brand manager for the major sporting goods brand, Puma, joined Maximum almost 6 years ago. Recently promoted to Creative Director, he is the award-winning brand visionary for many of our clients including: WindRiver in Knoxville, TN; The Grove in College Grove, TN; and Helms Port in Wilmington, NC. Jon has a very strong attention to detail and understands that branding has to evoke emotions and action from its target audience. His passion is web and mobile design, print design, environmental design and motion graphics.
Jesse Jones – Senior Designer
Jesse is a North Carolina native that we lured back from New York City where he has worked for the last 11 years as a graphic artist and brand manager for such major bands as J. Crew and Loehmann’s. As Senior Manager of Internet Production with J.Crew, Jesse focused on maximizing user experience and conversion across mobile platforms. Jesse has a wonderful eye for corporate and community branding, logo design, web, mobile and digital design and video editing. As an additional creative expression, Jesse is a stand-up comic. This is a talent we are trying to tie into our annual budget reviews with our clients.
Mike Münch – Creative Projects & Account Manager
Mike is also a North Carolina native and brings an amazingly diverse set of talents to the Maximum team. Mike is an accomplished photographer with degrees in Photographic Technology, Film Studies & English. He is a talented copywriter, graphic designer and organizational master. Most recently, Mike worked as Creative Director for a gift and clothing wholesaler. Mike’s creative background along side his professional approach allows him to switch quickly from graphic support to account management. This means our clients get answers, options and updates immediately—a key to Maximum’s success and longevity.
Katie McCormick – VP of Digital
Katie joined the Maximum team just over a year and half ago. She brings to this role significant experience in all areas of digital and mobile marketing including SEO, paid search, e-commerce, e-mail deployment, digital media and analytics. Katie has extensive digital and management experience from holding these positions with well-known brand names: Director of Digital Marketing for New York & Company, Digital & Mobile Media Director for Macy’s and as Web Development Manager for Revlon. Additionally, she has agency work with brands such as Unilever, Goldman and Dell.
