What was the client’s objective?

Helms Port, a large-scale marina and waterfront community along the Intracoastal Waterway— one of the last large waterfront properties remaining within the city limits of Wilmington— in Wilmington, NC, tapped Maximum to create the brand, brand strategy, as well as the community name. Of special interest in this tract of land was the family legacy and its innate tie to the surrounding historic community.

 What we did

In developing the name and brand identity for Helms Port, our research revealed centuries old tradition of boating, sailing and coveted summer soundside vacations. The legacy of this particular piece of land was agriculture for work and water for play and relaxation. The name, mark and collateral weave the heritage and allure of seaside living most aspire to but few realize.

End result

The end result is a brand that is indicative of an aspired coastal lifestyle, yet approachable, warm and inviting. You can almost feel the balmy breeze flowing from the page!
